"Moving The P-40"

1974: Gceorge Maude plans to move the P-40 from Saltspring Island, BC. Back to Patricia Bay, BC. His friend Albert Van Wyck builds a wooden box in the back of his pickup truck and George Maude and him put the tail wheel into the wooden box. They then load the truck and P-40 onto the "Saltspring Queen", a local ferry. Below you will see a short video of the moving taken back in 1974.
